2026 Summer Junior Golf Program

The Juneau Golf Club sponsors a summer golf lesson program for Juneau's youth aged 12-18. Lessons will be held for 9 consecutive Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm. The program will commence on June 3rd and end on August 5th. The program is limited to 23 participants. Golf clubs are available to those who might need them. Description

The Juneau Junior Golf Club summer program for 2026 will consist of nine consecutive Wednesday evening group meetings, from 6:00 to 7:45pm at the Mendenhall Golf Course from June 3rd to August 5th. Participants will receive instruction on the driving range as well as additional coaching while out on the course.

The program will focus on:

  • Developing a consistent and effective golf swing.
  • The use of different clubs for different situations on the course.
  • Learning how to play the game - the rules, golf etiquette, and order of play.
  • Learning how to focus and maintain a positive attitude while learning and playing the game

Those who attend a weekly lesson will receive credit for a round of golf and a bucket of range balls to use later in the week. 

Registrations are limited to 23 participants, so sign up today to reserve your spot!. The $50 registration fee covers all costs, including the use of clubs if needed. Scholarships are also available.
